Turning Point Programs and Workshops
The definition of Turning Point is "A time at which a decisive change in a situation occurs, especially one with beneficial results". The aim of our programs is to offer every client the chance to make a decisive change in their lives. We adapt for each client the best way to work together based on the case that is presented along the journey.
Turning Point - Reconnect Program
This residential program is designed to help you find new direction and awareness from a wide range of self defeating and self limiting issues. The program is based in the stunning foothills of the Serra Do Caldeirao 60km north of Faro in Southern Portugal where the nature and animals support and deepen your healing experience.
Our aim is to bring about a decisive change in your life so that you can come back to centre. We help you to do this by transforming your old ideas and beliefs for new ones which you create to have a happy life with more inner space, peace. connection and abundance.
The focus is to provide a new embodied experience that brings about lasting change and develops the resources you need in your daily life to move on from old self-limiting ideas and wounds from the past . These wounds may be expressing themselves as depression, anxiety, past trauma flash backs, libido issues, co-dependancy, compulsive behaviours, substance abuse, poor relationships or a level of stress that is chronic and unsupportable. You may simply be fed up the way you feel and want to find a better way of living.
MORE ABOUT THE TURNING POINT RECONNECT PROGRAM
The program is seven days with the possibility to remain On-Site for longer as part of a supported integration process.
All participants receive 5 one to one Quantum Energy Coaching (QEC) sessions. 2 before the program starts one during the program and 2 after the program. These will be taken over a 5 to six week period and allows us to start the work before you arrive and to customise the program to meet your needs when on-site. QEC is an advance form of therapy/healing that quickly produces lasting changes at a subconscious level in a matter of weeks. It is therefor perfect to use as a basis of deep healing while been accompanied by exploratory modalities that support grown and recovery.
This is very much an embodied experience that incorporates active meditations, moving and expression to music or drumming , group therapy, primal work using either art or conscious movement. By coming on-site you can start anew and leave any distractions and pressures behind you while you completely reconnect and rebuild. Other methods used in the process may include family constellation and Trauma Releasing Exercises provided by a qualified on-site practioner. We will also explore nature and there is the opportunity to make contact with the goats and horses. They area always curious. Apart form creating a growth and healing experience the program provides individuals with both understanding and information on how the mind and body responds and adapts to past traumas or wounds and how these play out in all aspects of life today. You will acquire awareness and knowledge on how to create the kind of life you desire.
The program puts special focus on:
- Trauma and Abandonment
- Addressing and understanding Shame, Fear, Guilt & Anxiety
- Building internal resources to better cope with life challenges and still remaining centred
- Connection and barriers to intimacy
- Relationships and understanding how our wounds keep us from growing and loving in a healthy and deeper way
- Developing greater inner connection, love and peace to express who we are
This program is available for one person at a time or for couples or for small groups. One to One programs are very much for people who want to do the maximum with a dedicated person to work with you. There are many things happening on the farm and some of the time we will participate in goat walks or other things that may be just right for you in that moment. All inquiries are treated in strictest confidentiality and upon reaching out to us you will be immediately contacted to find out more about how we can help.

ABOUT BODY & SOUL
Our bodies instinctively know what feels right or wrong, good or bad, yet we are often ignore these messages due to trauma, social conditioning, busy-ness and many other reasons. Being less able to tune in and respond to our body’s wisdom disconnects us from the truth and validity of own personal experience, makes authentic connection challenging and often separates us from others. In short, our society and lifestyles are driven and led by our heads and the body merely becomes the “brain taxi”.
We are wired for pleasure, yet this is only possible when we feel safe. The vagus nerve is the main nerve that informs us as to whether we are safe and is constantly scanning our environment and those around us to this effect. Using somatic experiencing we can tune into this “soul nerve”, bring awareness to our conditioned responses and learn to self and up regulate our emotional reactions. And through movement and dance we will reconnect with what feels good and right for ourselves. And then consciously move towards finding more joy, peace and Love within our lives yet without excluding any grief or sadness. By asking ourselves “does this feel right or that?” or “what happens when I move like this?” we can rebuild sensations of safety and trust within our own internal systems and grow our capacity to give and receive pleasure in all its forms.
How does your body want to move? What does your Soul wish to experience? By quietening the endless chatter of the mind and deepening our intuitive listening to our body we can learn to choose - what more would I like to feel? More joy? More freedom, connection, trust, coherence? More flow and celebration? Come join us and find out – the floor is yours.
In each two hour session we will move with one of the Five Elements, relating them to our body and soul experience, allowing space for our own expression and interpretation of their meaning. Starting with Fire we shall explore and move with our heart energy, welcoming what is and inviting what could be, then moving to Earth, feeling deep into our centre, our foundations and roots and exploring these aspects. From here we will move to Air and our expression and connection through breath and breathing then onto Water, exploring our watery origins and fluidity of our inner and outer worlds. Our last session will be Ether, where we trace the vagus nerve and get curious about our vibrational relationship with the invisible realm, the electro magnetic “field” that contains the quantum possibility of the unknown. What more is possible? How much better could I feel? How do I want to feel?
Each session will involve a welcome introduction to the theme and check in, a session on experiential anatomy and somatic movement for self-regulation led by Hazel, time for some feedback and sharing then a movement dance session led by Simon. We will end with time for you to settle, process and share as much or as little as you feel comfortable with.

About Hazel
My practice draws upon many years of experience gained from my mostly unplanned life journey and the transformative learning I have embodied, witnessed and received along the way. After leaving a career in wildlife conservation, I travelled extensively and ended up living in the Himalaya for several years and raising my young children there. Since returning to the UK over 20 years ago, I have trained in and studied naturopathic nutrition, spiritual counselling and Unitive Coaching alongside running a business and watching my children grow. Throughout my life, especially my childhood, I unknowingly absorbed & embodied a lot of unhelpful behaviours and beliefs along the way which led to a crunch point in 2017, when most of my outer world collapsed. By experiencing and then training in somatic experiencing and quantum coaching I have been able to integrate and usefully harness all this learning and re-vision a future built on my own personal truth. I come from a trauma informed background and resonant deeply with the challenges of being embodied, present and happy at this time on the planet. As there is always more to learn, I still nurture myself past limiting beliefs and behaviours on a regular basis and encourage others to do the same, witnessing & sharing our vulnerabilities, fears, strengths and triumphs together. I am currently deepening my experience and practice by studying Somatic Movement and Dance and Embodied Facilitation. I enjoy hanging out in cafes, easy yoga, qigong, not too scary wild swimming, ecstatic and conscious dance, walks with friends and family, collecting neurotic cats and growing beautiful flowers.
